Vertabrae has a Push series and a Shepherd series. The Push is internal — the spine moving itself. The Shepherd is external — the spine moving others. The portrait print on this tee is the figurative expression of the Shepherd identity: a face, a presence, a person whose posture is the instruction. Light Gray is the open ground for the Shepherd — the color of the city before it fills up, the canvas that lets the portrait command the space without competing for it.
